Careers

Help us build the future of home DIY.

Spetz is a small team building an AI-powered platform that turns DIY videos into guided, interactive projects. Here's where we're hiring right now.

Creator Partnerships Manager

Full-time

Own the relationship between Spetz and the DIY creators we work with, end to end. You'll run outreach and craft the pitch for each creator, manage the partnership pipeline from first contact through signed and live, and be the main point of contact as they onboard onto the platform. Day to day, that means tracking where every conversation stands, following up at the right moments, and adapting the pitch based on what actually resonates with different types of creators. Once a creator is live, you'll stay close to the relationship: checking in, gathering feedback on what's working and what isn't, and representing their interests internally as we build. This role reports directly to the founders and has real influence over how Spetz builds trust with the creator community from day one.

Senior AI Engineer

Full-time

Build and improve the AI pipeline at the core of Spetz: turning raw DIY videos into structured, buildable projects (steps, tools, materials), and powering the concierge that answers viewers' questions grounded in a creator's own content, not a generic model response. You'll work across the full lifecycle: video ingestion and transcript processing, prompt design and evaluation for the generation pipeline, and the live Q&A experience viewers interact with while building. Expect to spend real time on the unglamorous but critical work of measuring output quality, catching hallucinations before they reach a user, and iterating on prompts and pipeline structure as we learn what actually holds up across hundreds of different projects. You'll have a lot of latitude to shape how the system is architected as it scales, working closely with backend and product rather than in isolation.

Backend Developer

Full-time

Build and maintain the backend systems that power Spetz: our APIs, data models, and the infrastructure behind everything from user accounts to the pipelines that fetch and process creator content at scale. You'll own real, end-to-end pieces of the system rather than just tickets, which on a team our size means making architectural calls, not just implementing someone else's spec. Expect to work across a genuinely varied stack: web APIs serving our product surfaces, background job processing for heavier data work, and the plumbing that keeps everything reliable as usage grows. You'll partner closely with our AI engineering work, since a lot of what we build sits right at the boundary between backend infrastructure and the AI pipeline, and with product on what to build next. Comfort with ambiguity and a strong bias toward shipping matter more here than years of experience with any specific framework.

Creator Partnerships Intern

Internship

Support our Creator Partnerships Manager with research, outreach, and day-to-day coordination as we grow our roster of creator partners. You'll help identify and research DIY creators who could be a great fit for Spetz, assist with drafting and sending outreach, and keep the partnership pipeline organized by tracking where each conversation stands and following up at the right time. You'll get direct exposure to how partnerships actually get built at an early-stage startup, from the first cold message through onboarding, and you'll have real ownership over pieces of the process rather than just shadowing. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants practical experience in partnerships, outreach, and relationship-building, with the potential to grow into a full-time position as we scale.
